If you look on the coaches challenge in the Ultimate fighter show, Nogueira was going for and diving for every soccer ball while Mir did not. This shows that Nogueira has a better work ethic and will fight until you can fight no more. Mir does not have the desire, drive and heart that Nogueira has. Combined with his work ethic and talent there is no way Mir will be able to beat Nogueira.
